Here in Room 2 there are amazing little people who enjoy life and love learning and they teach Matua Andrew, Matua Aaron and Whaea Lynda something new every day! They are smart and funny and could one day be Teachers, Doctors, Politicians, Scientists, performers or Artists so let's check them out. :)

Guess who came back...

Whaea Lynda is back from her holidays and Room 2 children were very happy to see her :-) Look at how amazing they are as they patiently wait for her to come to the room. Yay Room 2 you are AWESOME or SABABA as they say in Israel!!

Puzzle finished at last!

Cale, Rydah, Misha and Ti Ri showed great teamwork and HEART by working together to finish off the Hairy Maclary jigsaw puzzle - and they were not even put off by lost pieces! Nice work you four.

Wonderful Tawa Montessori Visit

We were excited to welcome Rex, Zander, Payge and Clodagh from Tawa Montessori on Raapa tekau ma toru, who gave us a wonderful donation towards our breakfast club. They had time to listen to a story, see Constable Jo and guest appear at our Whole Whanau Hui before heading off with their Kaiako and Rex's Mum. Arohanui tamariki.

Book week saw us all dress up in costumes of our favourite characters.  Check some of us out in our cool gear.

SHAPES - Making shapes is fun to do = Ngā āhua hanga ko te ngahau ki te mahi

Our world is full of different shapes and colours.  In Room 2 we've created some shapes of our own. Here's some Maori kupu we can all learn.

We are a new entrant, Yr 1 and Yr 2 class with AWESOME kids.  Hopefully you will get to see some of our work over the year.

WOW ... Term 3 already! We've done so much this term so let me give you a taste of what's been happening down in good old ROOM 2.

WOOHOO !! We had a cool visit from KIDS CAN and they gave us some cool looking jackets.  Check out our photos of when they came. 

Like the lyrics to the song "HERE COME THE KIDS IN BLACK..."  We rocked our jackets and BIG THANK YOU to KIDS CAN for giving them to us.

Hi All.  Room 2 have been so busy this term with swimming, Cannons Creek sch Fun Day and this week we have WHEELS DAY where we bring our bikes, scooters etc to school.

 WOW !!! Room 2 Rocks.  Week 6 and we've done so many things.  We've been to THE BIG DATA at the National Library and are in the process of doing swimming lessons down at our local pool Cannons Creek.  Here are some photos of us doing our thing.

 It's always good to have our parents come on our trips.  Some of our dads got to help make masks with us.  
I've got to go but I've got some pictures from our Fun Day coming up soon.
